This post brought to you by Rock Star Energy Drink

I read somewhere that it's easy to stay home and take care of your children, it's just accomplishing anything else that's darned near impossible. Oh, today is that day. I'd like to think I've done pretty well today, but lately I feel like my life's theme is "Doing so much, accomplishing so little."

So, mamas that read my blog, have you got any advice on accomplishing anything other than playing with my kiddo. Because while I'd love to do nothing but that, we need to do silly things like eat and wear clothes. Call me silly, but I like it when those clothes are clean.

Hmm. When you figure it out, would you let me know? I have no idea.

Wait, I just thought of something. I hate, hate, HATE mopping my floor. I'm only just loosening up a enough to let them help me. They love it, and I just change their clothes when we're done. Another mopping trick I did once was to strap those wet Swiffer sheets to our shoes with rubber bands and pretend like we were ice skating.

It is a juggling game huh? Mommy Swap is a great thing. One mom a week takes all the kids and you get 2 hours to go to the store or clean, whatever. I remember lots of late-night grocery shoping trips. It does get better, so just play with them, they grow-up too fast.

Yeah, Pres. Monson's talk today about Enjoying the Journey really struck a chord; especially his comments about the little hands on clean surfaces. I need to re-evaluate my irritations with my wiggly, messy, arts-and-craftsy (which translates into constant paper, scissors, crayons, & tape everywhere, all the time), constantly-arguing children.
