'Tis better to give than receive.

Today is my birthday, and in honor of it, I'm putting upa wow-I-wish-I-were-a-big-cool-blogger-giveaway. It's nothing fancy, but I'm offerring our family's Christmas Mix CD for one of you this year. Because WBH hates most Christmas music (he worked in retail for too long), I try to find music that isn't overplayed, and I think I've got some really fun stuff pulled together- Barenaked Ladies, Jane Monheit, Jason Mraz, it's a good mix!

To be entered, comment here by Tuesday with your favorite Christmas song, just for fun, and I'll randomly select one on Tuesday. Mine is "I heard the bells on Christmas Day"

Got to run- WBH stayed home from work and jsut made me a HUGE yummy breakfast. How I love him.

You're such a sweetie! Happy Birthday! Hope it is indeed a very happy one! I can't decide which is my favorite. Carol of the Bells or O holy night...then again, I love O come O come Emmanuel...

I love "The River" as sung by Travis. It tends not to be overplayed, either. Bonus!

Happy Birthday! What a cute idea. It's hard to say what my favorite Christmas song is but when forced to pick I think I'd also have to say "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day." My cousin always sings it Christmas Eve when we are gathered together with my extended family so every time I hear it, it brings all sorts of happy feelings and memories with it.

Ok, I'm kinda wierd. My favorite non-traditional Christmas song is "I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" and I love Eartha Kitt's "Santa Baby".

For more traditional songs, I'd have to choose "I'll be Home for Christmas" or Mark Lowry's "Mary, Did You Know".

My favorite Christmas song is, interestingly enough, "The Christmas Song."

Happy Birthday!

I hope you had a great birthday!

I love most of the Christmas songs that Harry Connick Jr. sings I can't really pick a favorite... I know I'm pathetic. ;)
